Here are some of my recent reads, and old favorites.
This book was amazing. It is part mystery, part horror and all adventure. It has an interesting layout, at the end of certain chapters there are passwords for a website which has the corresponding video for that chapter. The book is done from the main character Ryan's point of view and the videos from his best friend Sarah's.
Deliciously horrifying. Lockdown will make you think... and make you hope it never happens!
This is a back story to the character Duncan and his fellow Gray Wardens in DragonAge. It also has a very interesting new take on Alastair's birth...
One of my favorite books. An oral "documentary" of the zombie war. Max Brooks has written this so well it really makes you believe that this is how it will happen.
This book is an interesting look into the unjust treatment of women in Middle Eastern culture and what one little girl did to stand up for herself.
Funny, light and well written. Great for those who enjoy Steampunk and a good laugh.
This is a wonderful, wonderful book that I thought about going home to read on days I had to work.
This series just keeps getting better. An absolutely perfect blend of adventure and fantasy with a wonderful cast of characters and some great one-liners.
One of my absolute favorites. This is a book that teaches that, not only can girls be heroes, but also that even when you are scared you can still do anything you put your mind to.
A ghost hunter, a new town and supposedly the most powerful ghost around. This book is well written, impossible to put down and absolutely amazing.
